Deliver with Agility (+ Agile)

Your goal is to deliver value to your customers, engage your people in solving problems together, adapt quickly when conditions change, and continuously improve how you work. This is agility. Your goal is not to “do agile” or “use Scrum.” Agile, Scrum, and Kanban are frameworks and mindsets {approaches} — tools that help you achieve this agility. We teach these approaches because they work, but it’s never about the frameworks or terms. It’s about applying what actually works in your context so work flows faster and you deliver value more effectively.
Process is not a bad word. Process is simply the steps you take to deliver value to your customers. Improving your delivery process is one important aspect of creating agility. Every organization, team, and person has processes, even if they’re not clear. The challenge is that without transparency, you can’t reflect on how you work or improve.
Effective organizations understand what value they provide to their customers and how. They make their value streams transparent. They equip their teams to quickly identify when and where work gets stuck. They engage their teams to improve their processes. Doing this sounds straightforward, and as you know, it rarely is.
We work with organizations to improve how they deliver. Some of our clients are just starting their delivery journey and looking to remove confusion and solve problems. Others are already experiencing results and want more. We work with them to amplify what’s working well.
We believe that improving is about not settling for best. It’s about starting where you are and always getting better. There is no magic formula, other than hard work and persistence, that will solve your delivery problems. We partner with you and your people to do that work together.

Agile for Teams (with Scrum) Training
Agile for Teams with Scrum is about more than simply learning a checklist of practices. Knowing how the tactical aspects of Scrum works are important and included in this class, but understanding why they are valuable creates more lasting value. You will examine the difference between the agile mindset and just “doing an agile routine,” why it matters if you want results, and the types of situations agile works in and why. You will focus on what Scrum means in practice and what good practices are necessary to succeed. You will have the opportunity to work alongside your peers, teammates, and others in your organization who need to work together to deliver results.
Agile with Kanban Training
Agile with Kanban training covers all aspects of kanban, an agile approach, as well as key aspects of Lean, where kanban is rooted. The course looks at what it means to have an agile-lean business, from vision to continuous improvement. We dig into what it takes to identify where the delivery of value to your customer is slowing down or getting stuck and cover multiple approaches to improving that flow.
Kanban is often used by teams or groups who are working in IT operations, support, and DevOps as well as people who are looking to use agile outside of IT, throughout the organization (e.g. marketing, customer support, sales, HR, manufacturing, etc.).
Agile Implementation Workshop
You’ve had the training. You know the concepts. What’s hard is actually getting started with your real team and your real work. This workshop is about doing it. You’ll bring your actual team and the work you’re dealing with right now. You’ll create team charters, organize your work into a product backlog, and deal with in-flight work. Then you’ll kick off your first sprint with sprint planning. You’ll start implementing agile immediately, in real time, with your actual work. Teams walk away with a clear plan, practical tools, and momentum already moving. This workshop can be taught based on Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, Lean, and even Organizational Agility.
