Get Ready for Tough Conversations by Taking Responsibility

In many difficult conversations, there’s something about you that you’re afraid the other person will bring up. Worse, they might be thinking about it and never mention it. In this first session in a series about tough conversations, we will explore how to make these situations more productive by doing an accountability audit, taking responsibility for your contribution to the problem, and naming the issue in a way that helps everyone move forward.
Please note: All of our Learning Labs are interactive sessions using Zoom and Miro. They are not just us talking to a slideshow. We invite all participants to collaborate on a virtual whiteboard (Miro) and engage in conversations with us and each other. While you are welcome to join in audio-only mode, it will be a challenge to participate, and you may not get much out of the session. Because these sessions are interactive, we do not record them.
