Getting Curious about Team Conflicts
Thursday, April 7, 2022 @ 2:00 pm — 3:00pm (MDT)
Conflict is a natural part of working together as a team. When conflict is not handled effectively, however, it pulls the team’s attention and energy away from the task at hand. Unfortunately, we are prone to misdiagnosing the sources of conflict within a group, and as a result, we often apply the wrong solutions. We need to go beneath the surface to figure out what’s going on. But how do we avoid going too deep? This session presents a model and method for identifying the most likely means of addressing conflicts in ways that the team will actually accept.
Please note: All of our Learning Labs are interactive sessions using Zoom and Miro. They are not just us talking to a slideshow. We invite all participants to collaborate on a virtual whiteboard (Miro) and engage in conversations with us and each other. While you are welcome to join in audio-only mode, it will be a challenge to participate, and you may not get much out of the session. Because these sessions are interactive, we do not record them. If you are not familiar with Miro, you can learn more at academy.miro.com.
