How does 50 stakeholders + 1 Product Backlog = No Problem

Monday, March 27, 2023 @ 1:00 pm — 2:00pm (MDT)

Okay, it may be a problem, but maybe not as big of a problem as you expected. This issue of so many stakeholders and so little time is and will always be a problem. We will always have more ideas than we will have people to attempt to act on them. A key part of managing this type of backlog situation is to start to engage stakeholders in the process. This session will look at what happens when one person tries to manage all of this themselves, what it means to engage stakeholders transparently. We will outline a decent flow of work from stakeholders to the product backlog and what this means for priorities. Finally we will look at stakeholder backlog management and how that might lead to” “no problem” or at least less of one!

Organizers: Jake Calabrese

Please note: All of our Learning Labs are interactive sessions using Zoom and Miro. They are not just us talking to a slideshow. We invite all participants to collaborate on a virtual whiteboard (Miro) and engage in conversations with us and each other. While you are welcome to join in audio-only mode, it will be a challenge to participate, and you may not get much out of the session. Because these sessions are interactive, we do not record them. If you are not familiar with Miro, you can learn more at academy.miro.com.
