Why Explaining Agile to Managment Doesn’t Have to Suck

Wednesday, February 15, 2023 @ 12:00 pm — 1:00pm (MST)

The idea of explaining agile to management is tricky in many ways.  One of the first things to do is to clarify assumptions. What and who is “management”, what do they understand about agile, what do we understand about business, and what is important to them. These are quite often assumptions, not facts.  Then, we need to look at options to explain agile in a way align with the facts we know and what is important.  Simple. And who knows… maybe “management” is not the issue.

Please note: All of our Learning Labs are interactive sessions using Zoom and Miro. They are not just us talking to a slideshow. We invite all participants to collaborate on a virtual whiteboard (Miro) and engage in conversations with us and each other. While you are welcome to join in audio-only mode, it will be a challenge to participate, and you may not get much out of the session. Because these sessions are interactive, we do not record them. If you are not familiar with Miro, you can learn more at academy.miro.com.
